How to draw whiskers with pastels | 6 Tips for drawing thin, fine lines

How to draw whiskers and thin, fine lines in pastels is all in the technique. The tips and techniques shown in this Tiger whisker tutorial can be applied to any subject. Adding realistic whiskers can really complete a portrait but they can also be challenging to get right. Using the techniques shown with pastel pencils can make a huge difference. If needed, practice these on a scrap piece of paper (ideally the same paper you use for your artwork to get a true representation) first before adding these whiskers and fine lines to your portrait.
