It's easy to change the crank case oil and oil filter on WWII Willys MB / Ford GPW Jeeps. In particular, access to the oil filter is from above the engine, and removal service doesn't require special tools or contortions.
The Jeep has a 5 quart crank case oil capacity, and this oil change used almost all 5 quarts by the end. I use conventional SAE 30 oil.
