This Habanera is dedicated to a niece of Cécile, and I am always happy to be able to play and upload music by her! I think it is so beautiful, very romantic but sparkling ideas, super pianistic as always, never boring but also not unconnected. Just pure joy in playing and it is a shame that she is that forgotten. You could probably ask dozens of music professors who never heard her name even, I bet. She has so many undiscovered pieces :)
