In January 2023, Allah SWT blessed me with the opportunity to perform Umrah. While in Makkah al-Mukarramah (Mecca) I also ventured out to visit Ghar-e-Hira (the cave of Hira) where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received the first revelation of the Holy Quran, delivered to him by the angel Jibra'il (Gabriel). With the mountain standing 640 m tall, the 1750 steps leading to Ghar-e-Hira take well over an hour to climb. This video shows some glimpses of the visit.
