Canal des Vosges is green and very picturesque. We are surrounded by trees, we hear the birds, and this is what I imagine when I dream of sailing on the French waterways.
But in contrary to the the rivers, here is a speed limit of 5 knots. But it is not because of the speed limit we don’t go many kilometers per day anymore…
I am sailing to the Mediterranean in my 17 foot speedboat. In this episode my teenage-son and are on Canal des Vosges in northern France.
