On 18 September 2021, Marc Bolan fans came together to celebrate his formative teenage years in Summerstown, south west London. They gathered at the spot which was once the site of his family's prebab home next to Wimbledon Stadium. A place where the young Mark Feld became Marc Bolan and took his first steps towards becoming one of this country's most iconic pop stars. On one of the old pubs nearby where he once busked, his former band-mate Andy Ellison unveiled a blue plaque. This was 'Marc Bolan's Teenage Dream' and a little Marc will always be in our Summerstown heart...
