It is on the news recently that Dagupan City, Philippines is experiencing some flooding, so we drove around Dagupan City center to find out.
Btw, Dagupan is a bustling coastal city that is situated at the eastern margin on the delta of Agno River lying one meter above sea level while the Pantal River flows through it.
The question is BAHA PA RIN BA SA DAGUPAN? YES.
The cause? Probably the poor elevation of the City that makes it more vulnerable to flooding. Moreover, Dagupan is the catch basin of flood waters from the neighboring towns.
About tides, during high tide periods that usually take around at least 3-4 hours, Dagupan City experience ankle deep flood around the city and can be seen along the main roads like AB Fernandez Ave, Perez Blvd, Arellano St, or even Jose De Venecia Ext.
Quite different case with Herrero Road, this place is flooded even without tides or heavy rainfall :P
P.S We filmed this around 10am. However, we are 2 hours early from the peak time of the high tide that day.
