A grand ceremony was held at Police Lines Headquarters Islamabad to honor the Ghazis and brave officers of Islamabad Police.
Inspector General of Police, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, attended the event as the chief guest.
During the ceremony, 21 police officers were awarded Shujaat (Bravery) Medals and 15 officers received Ghazi Medals along with commendation certificates and cash rewards — two lakh rupees for Shujaat Medal recipients and one lakh rupees for Ghazi Medal recipients.
The event paid rich tribute to the sacrifices and courage of Islamabad Police heroes and acknowledged the families who nurtured such brave sons of the nation.
Islamabad Police salutes all these valiant officers who risk their lives for the safety and peace of the Capital.
