BLUE LINE w/ JOKER CARD SAALBACH INFO | Mountain biking in Saalbach-Hinterglemm

Shredding the Blue Line in Saalbach-Hinterglemm in 2017. Giving you some information on the Joker Card in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. That's PHAM: useful information AND shredding! :)

Oh and yeah, when I took the Blue Line it was raining and it was super muddy. So I couldn't take it as fast, since I am not that confident in my tires in such conditions yet. But you can definitely feel how you're improving on the bike with every meter ridden on the muddy Blue Line in Saalbach.

Still, so much fun! The Blue Line is another one of those easy lines in Saalbach: about 3km long, covers about 350 meters of altitude in flowy, long berms with a few jumps that you can take but don't have to. There are also small root sections, so it's perfect to get started with mountain biking in Saalbach as a beginner or advanced rider.

Saalbach-Hinterglemm is quite known for the skiing and snowboarding in winter, but as the winters get shorter and the snow-free time gets longer, they are relying more and more on other activities to keep the money flowing during the whole year :) Mountain biking is only one of those, but as a result you can use all the cable cars, gondolas and lifts to get to the top of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm mountain biking trails with the Joker Card.

In the meantime, Saalbach-Hinterglemm has established itself as quite a downhill and freeride park with the X-Line and some other, more technical trails. Together with Leogang, which is right around the corner, the downhill community meets up here in this area at least once a year (or more, don't know) to compete in who gets to the bottom fastest.
