Even today, when a girl is born in a family, she’s seen as a burden they’re just not happy about it.
1 When a baby girl is born, the mother and father are usually very happy. However, the grandparents often feel unhappy or indifferent. Likewise, extended family members, neighbors, and even broader society tend not to share the same joy, and may look upon the birth with disapproval or subtle criticism. In many cases, people will make indirect remarks or pass judgment, as if the birth of a daughter is somehow less desirable.
2 People will say, There must be something wrong with the man. They’ll taunt him and slowly, he’ll realize it himself Yeah my child is a girl.
3 The girl’s in laws and her own father think a daughter means a burden we’ll have to arrange her marriage pay for dowry spend on her education why waste money on her we’d rather spend on a son he’ll support us in old age.
4 A daughter can also support her parents in old age just like a son so why is this difference even made ?
5 But if the father himself is rich it won’t matter to him at all whether my house gets a daughter a son a transgender child or a special child he knows my old age support is secured I have enough wealth enough money that anyone can become my support in old age I won’t be left begging on the street.
