Six Security Sectors Created in Janakpuri, Every Corner Under Surveillance – 200 Volunteers to Ensure Safety of Devotees

Agra. The Shri Janakpuri Mahotsav Organizing Committee has finalized a detailed security strategy for the upcoming grand Janakpuri Mahotsav, which is expected to witness a gathering of 1.5 to 2 million devotees. To ensure smooth crowd management and safety, the entire Janakpuri area has been divided into six sectors.

A high-level meeting was held on Friday evening at Hotel Celebration under the leadership of Rajya Sabha MP and Chief Patron of the committee, Naveen Jain, along with Security Head Shashank Tiwari and his team. During the meeting, security arrangements were reviewed and a special security card was unveiled.

Security Head Shashank Tiwari informed that each of the six sectors—including ABCD Block roads, Kamla Nagar Main Road, and Janak Mahal—will have a team of 25 volunteers, one sector in-charge, and two assistant in-charges. A coordinator will supervise all six sectors. To maintain effective monitoring, all security personnel will stay connected through walkie-talkies.

In total, 200 volunteers dressed in uniform T-shirts will be deployed to manage the security system. As part of the unique monitoring strategy, every sector in-charge will be required to send an hourly group selfie to the sector coordinator, ensuring that all volunteers remain present and alert at their assigned locations.

At the Mithila Mahal, around 35 volunteers will be deployed to manage entry, exit, and VIP pass checking near the barricades. For the VVIP route, 30 NCC cadets will be stationed.

Prominent committee members present during the meeting included security coordinators Yashpal Thakur, Alok Vaishnav, Rahul Kushwaha, Monu Bharti, Mohit Sharma, Ritik, Narayan Chaturvedi, Ashish Sharma, Akash Rathore, Gopi Mahaur, Ranjit Rathore, Manish Kushwaha, Raju, Sachin, Yuvraj Singh, and Rahul Kushwaha. Dola (procession) security heads Vinod Parmar, Gaurav Tiwari, and Brajesh Verma were also present.

Other senior committee officials in attendance were General Secretary Councilor Pradeep Agarwal, Convener Councilor Pankaj Agarwal, Chief of All Arrangements Gaurav Poddar, Treasurer Ramratan Mittal, Co-Treasurer Anil Agarwal (Bank), along with Rajendra Tiwari, Swadesh Vikal, Ramgopal Agarwal, Deepak Maheshwari (Advocate), Anil Agarwal (Advocate), Jitendra Tiwari, Chandraveer Singh, Tapan Agarwal, Gaurav Chauhan, Amit Agarwal Parul, Praveen Agarwal, Saurabh Pathak, Pawan Agarwal, KK Agarwal, Sandesh Sharma (Sappu Bhai), Amit Gwalia, Harish Sharma (Guddu Bhai), Jugal Shrotriya and Sanjeev Sharma.

The committee affirmed that this multi-layered security plan will ensure a safe, smooth, and spiritually fulfilling experience for lakhs of devotees and Ram bhakts during the grand festival.
