Part 13 - The Girl’s Survival Alone in the Wilderness | The Battle with the Sand Fish in the Desert

Episode 13 Summary:

After the breathless battle with the colossal sand fish, the girl escaped—exhausted— from the fine-sand basin ruled by the monstrous creature.

Her footsteps sank deep into the thick sand, each heartbeat blending with the shrill desert wind. Only when the giant creature finally dove beneath the dunes did she dare to stop, lifting her gaze to the endless sky above. The desert was silent, motionless—only the wind remained, and the fear that had yet to fade.

She kept moving—slow at first, then nearly dragging her feet—until the terrain changed: the smooth dunes gave way to rugged, cracked ground scattered with small rocks and patches of withered grass. Signs of life—however faint—and a place she could finally rest.

Under the shade of a low, scraggly tree, she sat down, thirsty, starving, and exhausted. Then she noticed a subtle rustle in the nearby brush. A small desert hare, hidden and foraging. She crept closer, quiet and deliberate, gathering energy into her palm—until a thin bolt of lightning flashed forward. The hare jolted once and fell instantly lifeless.

Relieved, she lifted her catch and searched for dry branches to build a fire. In the open wasteland, the first flame sparked from the tip of her finger—small, but bright against the lonely desert.

She sat silently beside it, placing the dead hare at her side, preparing for her first survival meal after days of terror.
