Shri Dabral Babaji is a staunch devotee of Vikrant Bhairavji and has been worshipping him with unflinching faith for over five decades. He is a 79 year old who lives in Rishi Nagar, Ujjain (Bhairav Nivas).

Baba Dabral is a double post-graduate in History and Philosophy from Vikram University Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) India. He served as office superintendent in the department of Mathematics in Vikram Univarsity, Ujjain. He retired in 1996. He lives with his wife, three sons and daughter in laws and Grandchildren. His only daughter lives in Delhi. He most of the time is in close communion with Vikrant Bhairavji through meditation. About 250 persons meet him at his residence from 3:30PM to 04:30PM everyday to seek his blessings for redress of their sufferings. People may talk to him over the phone from 08:00AM to 09:00AM by appointment only.

Baba Dabralji was born on 25 th August 1932 at Timli, a village in Pauri District of Garhwal in the state of Uttar Pradesh (now a new state called Uttaranchal) India. He spent his chidhood at Timli with maternal grandparents and at Kathoor with paternal grandparents. Later he came to Dhar, a district headquarters in Indore Division and to Ujjain, a divisional headquarters in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

His real name is Govindprasad Kukreti. He is popularly called Baba Dabral, a surname he adopted after his maternal uncle’s who virtually brought him up at Dhar and Ujjain. Baba is an appellation given to a person who has reached spiritual heights.

However, Dabral Babaji’s simplicity, selflessness, compassionate demeanour, pity for the poor and the suffering, and above all his child-like heart are the qualities that attract a lot of people from all over India and abroad as well.

According to Shri Dabral Babaji Vikrant Bhairavji is god. He is the furious form of lord Shiva. In this form his Tandava dance (Natraj Posture) is famous the world all over. Dabral Babaji says that there is no difference between Vishnu and Bhairav. There are a number of mythological references that affirm this assertion. He worships and prays to the Goddess Bhairavi too.
