I'm so heartbroken to say that Carl has passed away.. It feels almost surreal that I'm even posting this video.. but I wanted to share this to sort of explain what happened and why things happened the way they did. I also don't want this video to just be a sad one.. I want it to also be a tribute to him and a celebration of his life, with the end having a mini edit of my favourite videos and memories of him.
Thank you to everyone who showed him so much love over the years. It brings me so much peace knowing that you guys got to see Carl through my eyes, and maybe changed your view on how you see reptiles as the emotional, moody, intelligent, self-aware, and so full of personality lil guys they are.
Rest in peace, my sweet little chameleon, Carl. I will forever be heartbroken and missing you until the day we meet again.
