   • घटोत्कच जब कृष्ण का सन्देश लेकर धृतराष्ट्र...  

Translation
Ghatotkacha: (Having entered) Oh! Here, your majesty Dhritrastra! Father of
hundred ignobles! (Going near) O Grandfather! I Ghatotk…..bow
down to you. (Thus speaking half) No, no. It is not as per order.
Yudhisthira and all my elders bow down to you after that I
Ghatotkacha bow down to you.
Dhritarashtra : Come, come son.
Ghatotkacha : O your majesty you are indeed noble! Lord Krishna has said
to the grandfather who is the father of nobles.
Dhritarashtra : (Getting up from the throne) What does Lord Krishna order?
Ghatotkacha: No, no, no. You should hear the message of Krishna only by
sitting on the throne.
Dhritarashtra : As Lord Krishna orders. (He sits).
Ghatotkacha : O Grandfather! Listen – O son Abhimanyu! O son lamp of Kururace!
O son scion of Yadurace! Leaving your mother, maternal uncle and
even me, you have gone to heaven with the hope of seeing
grandfather! – O Grandfather! If this is the situation of Arjuna only by the death of one son. Then what will happen of yours? So now,
quickly summon up strength in your soul. As your life should not
burn like the oblation in the fire emerged from the sorrow of the
(death of)son.
Shakuni : If the earth can be conquered only by a sentence and if all the
Kshatriyas can be killed in a single sentence then it would be done.
Ghatotkacha : Shakuni says this! O Shakuni, Leaving the dice be capable for
archery.
Duryodhan : O! You have gone to your nature. We also are terrible, possessing
the fierce nature like demons.
Ghatotkacha : Don’t say so! You are more cruel than the demons even. As-
(Shlok) Demons even do not burn the brothers sleeping in the
house of sealing-wax. Demons even do not touch the brother’s wife
on the head.
Duryodhan : You have come as a messenger, you haven’t come to fight. Go by
taking the message, we do not kill the messengers.
Ghatotkacha : (with anger) Are you insulting me saying me a messenger? It cannot
be like that. I am not a messenger. Attack together.
(All stand)
Dhritarashtra : O grandson Gatokacha ! Forgive. Understand my words.
Ghatotkacha : Ok, Ok. I am a messenger by the words of the grandfather. O king!
Listen the final message of Lord Krishna.-
(Shlok) Follow religion, fulfill the expectations of your relatives. All
you wish by mind, complete here only. It is an advice of a noble
person that Yamaraj
