Why you should go to Nakano Broadway as well as Akihabara, if you like anime, figures, collectibles, characters, Pokemon or any cult fandom!
Nakano Broadway is a shopping mall in Tokyo with lots of otaku/subculture themed shops selling figures, collectibles, models, manga, video games, books and all sorts of anime merch. It's slightly cheaper than Akihabara, and you never know what you'll find! It's a fun place to hunt for souvenirs, and there are some great Japanese food options.
