Practical Experiences with BOMOS, Semantic Treehouse and GenAI (ENDORSE 2025)

What if Generative AI could act as a co-pilot for the complex, human process of creating data standards? This talk is about how AI can improve the way communities create and manage data standards by boosting collaboration and by facilitating people doing the work.

Presented by Wouter van den Berg of TNO at the ENDORSE 2025 conference, this session shows the practical application of GenAI within Semantic Treehouse, TNO's open-source platform for collaborative data modeling.

You'll see two live demos:
1. AI Specification Generator: Instantly create a structured data model from a simple text prompt.
2. AI Issue Co-Pilot: An AI assistant that helps standards managers analyze and act on community feedback.

Beyond the demos, Wouter challenges us (and himself) to think beyond the "horseless carriage syndrome" and envision a future of more autonomous, evidence-based, and human-governed data interoperability.
