Genesis 1-2: SCIENCE & CREATION, do they work together?

The Creation story in the Bible is a wild story that makes no sense from the scientific perspective. This results in many people citing science as a reason to not believe the Creation Story and the entire Bible. Are they right?

By reading through the Creation story in Genesis alongside the tradition of the Catholic Church, we can begin to understand how the Creation story is not contradicted by science. The Bible is an ancient text compiled the in 382AD by the Catholic Church, the Church founded by Jesus Christ. The Catholic Church inherited the Jewish writings dating back to 950BC. We have to consider if the Bible is meant to be read through the scientific lens of the 21st century AD.

Walk with me through the first two chapters of Genesis to set the precedent on how to read the Bible to better understand God and our relationship with Him. God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from sin. We must work with God to save ourselves through Jesus Christ by not dismissing the Bible due to failing to read it properly. Once we read the Bible with the tradition of the Catholic Church, we can truly allow the Word of God to enter our hearts and bring us to Our Lord Jesus Christ.
