Sport climbing Norway? Then watch this climbing video from Kristiansand in Norway, which is one of the best climbing spots in Europe! At least to me!

In this video I will introduce the sport climbing crag called Odderøya just south of Kristiansand in Norway. Here you will find over 60 sport climbing routes spread across six sectors ranging from grade 4 to 7c, but most climbs are between 5b and 6b!

Norway is actually the home of Magnus Midtbø, one of the best nordic rock climbers right now. There are loads of sport climbing videos with Magnus Midtbø, and he actually runs his own YouTube climbing vlog too. You should definitely check out his climbing vlog!

And the location of Odderøya is just fantastic! But you have to watch the climbing video to see that! There is a fantastic fort and a beautiful lighthouse there too. So Odderøya is a great place to go hiking too.

The sport climbing crag Odderøya in Norway offers a very diverse amount of routes, but most of either slab or vertical with a lot of crack features. The rock type is a mix of granite and gneiss.

Finding Odderøya in Noway is really easy. It is literally a five minute drive from Kristiansand and you should park at one of the many parking lots on the island. When you have found a parking place, hike towards the lighthouse and follow the trail that leads down to the waterfront. Before the green fence turn left up, and follow the narrow trail towards to the Odderøya sport climbing crag.
