My first AND LAST Insane Pemon ! I had such a great experience...
YOU REALLY THOUGHT I HAD FUN WITH TS ?

To give you some context, I first wanted to complete "Flower Peak" as my very first and last Insane Pemon (cuz all I wish for is that satisfying "1" in my demon stats), but after struggling a ton on the last stage and never getting consistent on it, I eventually dropped it.

So I stumbled upon this level. And it was actually extremely fun when playing it in practice, wanna know why ?? Because I could just place custom checkpoints and finish the run quickly ! So yesterday I planned on beating it once for all, expecting to beat it within 5 hours (which was pretty reasonable considering my non-neglectable Platformer difficulty jump), and OHHH BOY WAS I WRONG...

So you might think : struggling on levels like this is pretty mundane, right ?
2 SITTINGS. 8 HOURS. MY UNLUCKIEST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE IN GD. That's how bad things were.

First and foremost, this level contains so many chokepoints and I still cannot list all of them, but some such as the entire very first checkpoint and Room 4 Checkpoint 1 made me feel like what it was to be homosexual (joke)...not even mentioning every single awkward jump (it literally feels like a 60Hz frame-perfect) involving 2 spikes, one pointing up and the other one down.
What's more daunting about my experience was my very-cooperating screen recorder NVIDIA. Yep, the first checkpoint recording corrupted (fyi, it had taken me 3 hours just to get past it) so I had to beat it again just for the sake of having something to show in the final render. Luckily, I only spent ~ 20 minutes on the rebeat. Also, I didn't record the first checkpoint in room 4 somehow and it made me jiggle to say the least...
Finally, I accidentally reset the level while being in the second room. Definitely a high-IQ move right there, folks

However in the end, this level taught me something precious.
While my frustration almost made me quit within the first 6 hours, I realised I'd unwillingly put myself into sort of a "foreign bubble" where excess of investment and negative emotions I'd always managed to avoid before prevailed, and from which I needed to escape. So I decided to stay positive and draw lessons from my fails : and I know this might sound like a stupid fairy tale, but my positivity, resilience and efforts finally paid off. That's how after taking a mere break from the game, I successfully got through the entire checkpoint, thus completing the level.
Last and not least, I'm now officially cracked at robot platformers...tOtALLy wOrTh lOsInG mY sAnItY

Now let's talk about the level itself : to be honest, I'd say that it has an amazing decoration and a decent gameplay overall. It's just that not having the skillset for it made it really difficult personnally.

By the way, knowing that it'd take me an eternity to complete this level, I opted for my playlist instead of that weird in-game soundtrack, so that's why every video cut has a different song playing in the background.
