How to Draw REY (Star Wars) | Narrated Step-by-Step Tutorial

DISCLAIMER: Remember that this tutorial isn't for showing you how to draw a likeness of the actress DAISY RIDLEY, so please don't expect it!

It's quite funny how I really have not done a tutorial on many of the characters from the STAR WARS sequel trilogy. Usually in December when these films come out, I slow down or take a little bit of a break so I can enjoy Christmas with friends and family. But now that the trilogy is done, I'd like to go back and do a few of the characters from the films, beginning with REY!

CHARACTER BIO (MAJOR SPOILERS):
Rey Skywalker was a Force-sensitive human female who, after years of living as a scavenger, became a Jedi during the war between the First Order and the Resistance. Unaware of her lineage as the granddaughter of Emperor Sheev Palpatine, Rey was the only name she went by prior to assuming the Skywalker surname. Rey ultimately chose the Jedi path, despite inheriting her strength in the Force from a Dark Lord of the Sith. She also formed a unique bond with Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. Notwithstanding their adversarial relationship, Rey and Ren were the realization of a prophesied dyad in the Force.

CHANGE IT UP! Feel free to customize your drawing — you don’t always have to do as I say!

RESULTS WILL VARY. If your drawings look a little different that mine, that’s okay. Also remember that we’re not trying to get a likeness of an actor or actress, so don’t worry about making your faces look like a specific person in real life. What counts is that you did your best!
