LOGLINE: When a lonely employee is inspired by a visionary leader to trade AI efficiency for human data in an AI-automated environment, they must quickly prove that joy is the most profitable metric of all. Produced by Control + Z Productions, this experimental comedy film explores transformational leadership within the context of AI management.
You are welcome to provide your views in the comments section under the video to create a conversation about how to manage AI with emotional intelligence...
BACKGROUND:
This film explores Transformational Leadership theory within the context of a work environment where AI automation has become a driving force. Transformational Theory suggests that leaders who practice idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration have the ability to effectively influence their employees to transform their organization. From a futuristic lens, the film first illustrates how AI automation can alienate employees and then explores how emotional intelligence actions resulting from transformational leadership can help these alienated employees move from loneliness to joy.
Following the film, this Episode Also Includes:
A commentary session where Sacramento State Professor Hakan Ozcelik and City of Roseville Deputy City Manager Megan Scheid provide insights about how AI automation trends could redefine managerial professions and employees' psychological experiences at work in near future.
A forum with the audience explores the implications of AI automation trends for the younger next generation who will have started their careers in the next decade.
Drawing on these insights, the participants also discuss why basic human needs and adaptation would be a driving force to influence how the next generation in our society will shape AI's future.
