Detour through Badlands National Park

In this video, we officially head home as our workamping season comes to an end. Saying goodbye to Montana wasn’t easy — this was our first season work camping out West, and it changed us more than we expected.

With a 29-hour drive ahead of us, we hit the road… and about 26 hours in, I convince Russ to make one last stop at Badlands National Park. 😅🏞️
It wasn’t planned, but sometimes the best moments never are.

This vlog is a little different from our usual adventures. We don’t hike or explore on foot — instead, we take you along for a simple drive-through of Badlands National Park with our trailer, showing what the park looks like from the road and what it’s like visiting with an RV.

Think of this video as a real RV travel moment: long miles, unexpected detour, and letting the landscape speak for itself. The views are incredible, the drive is peaceful, and it feels like the perfect pause before whatever comes next.

Workamping may be over, but change is definitely in the air, and we’re excited (and a little nervous) to see where this road leads.
