On 20 AUG 2024, N157UW, operating at AA1272 for American Airlines suffered an issue with one of their engines after departing from San Diego Intl. Airport (KSAN). The aircraft with 195 souls onboard diverted to Los Angeles Intl. Airport (KLAX) after running checklists and landed normally. The aircraft was able to taxi under it's own power to the gate after a quick inspection from emergency vehicles.
