Coloring with Ranger Alcohol Inks on a sheet of white translucent polymer clay (Premo) that has been Silkscreened with black acrylic paint. This video is Part 1 of a 2 part series.

Polymer Clay: White Translucent Premo (you can use regular translucent but I like how the white translucent doesn't turn yellowish after baking)
Process:
Flatten out polymer clay to a number 3 (4th thickest setting on pasta machine)
Burnish silkscreen onto raw, flattened out clay
Apply a strip of black acrylic paint on the edge of the top of the silkscreen
Take silkscreening flat edge (or any plastic flat edged item like an old credit card, for instance) and swipe the paint evenly across silkscreen until paint fully covers silkscreen
Carefully and smoothly remove silkscreen from polymer clay and immerse silkscreen in a container or bowl of warm, soapy water
Wait for paint to dry. Do not cut or bake clay yet.
