Peanut Butter Sugar Cookies | Using Natural Peanut Butter

Here's a twist of that classic peanut butter cookies you love. It's crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. There sparkly and crinkly tops remind you of that all-time favorite sugar cookies.

You'll need:
• 1 1/3 cup (166g) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 6 tbsp (84 g) unsalted butter (room temperature)
• 1 cup (200g) brown sugar (packed)
• 1/2 cup (125g) natural creamy peanut butter
• 1 medium egg (room temperature)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 cup white granulated sugar (for rolling)

Using a 3-tbsp cookie scoop in the video. Makes 12-14 cookies.

:: HELPFUL HINTS ::
Measure your flour correctly. Fluff the flour in the container before scooping it out. Lightly spoon the flour directly into the measuring cup until it mounds well above the top of the measuring cup. Using the back of the dinner knife, sweep over the top of the cup to remove the excess flour.

I use natural creamy peanut butter to create that crinkly tops on the cookies. Chilling helps rolling the dough easier.

One can use creamy peanut butter if you prefer your cookies less crinkly. There's no chilling needed. Also, lightly press the dough balls flat using your spatula before baking.

Best consume if cookies are cooled down completely and refrigerated
