Tormach 1100MX: Assembly, Test Cuts & Initial Impression!

Machine tool assembly, then milling and tapping 6061-T6. The new features of the Tormach 1100 MX include a BT30 spindle taper, a 12 pocket ATC, speeds and feeds and RPM override knobs, and an 11" Y-Axis travel. We'll cover how to measure tool heights and offsets while the tools are in the spindle and a simple method for lubricating the drawbar on a pull stud style tool holder.
