Coho Campground in the Olympic National Park in Washington State is a beautiful, relaxing, and fun place to stay, but the route to get there can be challenging if GPS takes you the “wrong” way! In this video we tell you how to get there, then show you around this campground paradise. While there are several big-rig friendly RV sites, you don’t want to be driving your big rig down this rough road!
Coho Campground is seasonal and only open between mid-May through the beginning of October, so be sure to check the website for availability. Reservations can be made through www.Recreation.gov
We visited Coho Campground in August 2024.
The campground has 44 standard campsites that accommodate tents, trailers and RVs up to 36' in length, and 2 group site that accommodate up to 16 people each. There are also 3 yurts available for reservation, 9 walk-in tent sites. Coho has flush toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, campfire rings and a dump stations just outside the campground.
While technically it is OUTSIDE of Olympic National Park, it’s a great alternative to the busier campgrounds in the park, and probably easier to get in to. It’s also a nice option if you prefer something more remote and relaxing.
