When the tomatoes starting coming in last August, I had to go back to work! I felt stuck. My house was hot, I was too busy. What could I do? I threw my tomatoes into freezer bags and tossed them in the freezer!
I kept thinking that there might be 75 lbs, when really we ended up with 105 lbs of tomatoes! What to do with all of them!?
I really needed my freezer space back, so I decided to pull them out and get to work. Instead of canning a few different recipes, I used a recipe out of the ball book. Just a basic tomato sauce!
