EP 3: Jomblang Cave & Pindul Cave Tubing Adventure | Yogyakarta Day Trip | I Java Travel Itinerary

In Episode 3 of “Indonesia Beyond Bali”, we dive—literally—into one of the most unforgettable adventures from our Java travel itinerary! Starting from Yogyakarta, we explored the mystical Jomblang Cave and the thrilling Pindul Cave tubing experience — two of the top-rated things to do in Yogyakarta for adventure and nature lovers.

Our day began with a guided trip to Jomblang Cave, where we rappelled 60 meters down into a massive sinkhole and witnessed the magical “heavenly light ray” filtering through the cave’s opening — a moment straight out of a movie!

Next, we headed to Pindul Cave for an exciting river tubing adventure that took us floating through serene cave passages and flowing river rapids. Cliff jumps, waterfalls, and stunning limestone formations made this a must-do activity in Yogyakarta!

To finish off the day, we stopped by a local plantation to taste the world-famous Luwak Coffee (also known as civet or “poop” coffee) — an exotic end to an adrenaline-filled day.
