I spent 24 hours inside an alien UFO!

This is a super unique Airbnb property located out in Joshua Tree, California, dubbed Area 55. It is entirely alien and UFO-themed.

The Airbnb is a Futuro house- a prefabricated house designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen. Futuro houses are incredibly rare as fewer than 100 were built during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Area 55 is the only Futuro house that you can rent on Airbnb or any other short-term rental platform in the entire world!

The property is off-grid and should be considered a form of glamping (glamorous camping). The exterior has a grill, a fire pit area, a fun outdoor bowling space, and an off-grid bathroom and shower. On the inside, the main room is filled with fun alien movies and games! The Futuro house can sleep up to 4 guests.
