Technician mistake to identify the problem of High current by Compressor.
If compressor taking High Amps check the power supply till compressor terminal. Don't assume that compressor is fault. Compressor is expensive part in air-conditioning. Double check before saying compressor defective.
In this case we found compressor taking High Amps because in contactor one phase contacts Burnout in 2 phase Compressor will take Higher Amps and get overheat
