Substitute teachers are a vital part of daily life at Arlington High School — and when classrooms need coverage, Susan Brewer and Barbara Gray are always ready to step in.
While schools across the country struggle to find substitute teachers, AHS is fortunate to have experienced educators who bring more than 80 years of combined classroom experience to students each day. For them, subbing is about more than attendance or lesson plans — it’s about building relationships, supporting students, and helping them discover their passions.
