You may have seen my hand tattoo, it has significance to me as an Army Veteran. I found s good explanation at OP Veteran "The IGY6 Tattoo: The semicolon... Almost like a thought, a reconsideration of the cessation of a sentence, or in this case, your life. IGY6 stands for I Got Your Six. Teal is for PTSD/Mental Health Awareness, black is for the heavy hearts that many of us carry, those who suffer from PTSD and those who have lost loved ones to suicide because of PTSD. The red is a symbol of the blood that has been shed. Daily the veteran community is rocked by suicide and accidental death, on top of the normal trials of transition. Before going down the dark path from where, there is no return. Pause, reconsider, and reach out. You are not alone.
