About the car wash:
Hands On Car Wash is a car wash in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.

The car wash is located on Innocence Boulevard in Strawberry, Los Santos, and can be used by the player.

The car wash appears to be automated, meaning the player simply has to approach the entrance on the east side of the building and pay the fee for the car to begin moving through the wash system.

With the Money Fronts update for Grand Theft Auto Online, the car wash becomes available for purchase by the GTA Online Protagonist, to serve both as a legitimate business to wash cars for customers and as a front for money laundering, including increased income for the protagonist's Motorcycle Club Counterfeit Cash Factory.

The car wash is a legitimate business used as a front for money laundering. The personalization is limited to 9 tint options. Players can choose from purchase it from Maze Bank Foreclosures after they are introduced to Mr. Faber and Raf De Angelis by Martin Madrazo at LSIA.

In comparison to the Hands On Car Wash in Grand Theft Auto V, the exterior of the building received minor alterations exclusive to GTA Online with this update, with the rear Autoshop signage being swapped for Car Wash signage, and the "Manager's Special" banners hanging around the front and rear of the building being removed.

Upon entry, the GTA Online Protagonist takes a quick look around the car wash office, and Raf introduces the money laundering operation and the legitimate work to avoid police attention (Heat), which can be launched from the computer inside the office.

Additionally, owning the Hands On Car Wash boosts the value of product sold from the Counterfeit Cash Factory by 35% during Biker Sell Missions if owned. Owners may also receive car washes for their Personal Vehicles at the car wash for free.

Purchasing the Hands On Car Wash allows players to wash Personal Vehicles at the car wash for free, and unlocks the ability to expand the operation to Higgins Helitours and Smoke on the Water, each purchased separately from Maze Bank Foreclosures and in any order.

Any passive income generated by both properties can be collected from the safe at Hands On Car Wash. This starts at $750 each and doubles to $1500 after completion of 15 Money Laundering missions for each of the three businesses, and the safe's income maxes out at $100,000, at which point it must be collected for more income to be added. Mr. Faber Work missions also contribute to the 15 missions required for increasing the business income, with each mission completed adding to the totals for all three businesses.

The car wash is primarily a rendition of the now-closed Lennox Car Wash, located at 10709 Hawthorne Boulevard in Lennox, California, with the stylized arrows seemingly inspired by Mission Car Wash, which is now a Sparkling Image Car Wash branch at 1601 San Fernando Road in San Fernando, California.
