This week aboard our Leopard 45 Tiny Bubbles, we’re tackling a domino line of boat projects! We start by looking back at the moment we first discovered a major issue with our propellers. What began as a simple shutter became a full-blown mystery—until a sharp-eyed diver helped us realize we had installed the blades in the wrong sequence. Once we paired the prop sets correctly, he was able to get half of them back on and moving smoothly.
Next, we bring in Southeast Tank Services to professionally clean our fuel and polish the tanks as part of our Bahamas prep. To our relief, the team confirmed that our fuel actually had minimal contamination, and they walked us through ideas for a future onboard fuel-polishing system.
We close this episode with a heartfelt farewell to our friend and marina neighbor, Kelly MacDonald, as he heads to Titusville for repairs. Hoping our wakes cross again in the Bahamas.
