Newquay Surf Vibes & Bristol Street Art | Journey Towards the Brecon Beacons

Our slow journey continues with two quick stops — one night in Newquay and one night in Bristol.

In Newquay, we spent time by the ocean, watching the surfers and soaking up the beach energy. Boardmasters was on at the same time, which gave the whole town a special buzz. The waves and laid-back vibe even carried a hint of that coastal feeling we love so much.

Bristol was a complete contrast: colourful street art, a vibrant coffee scene, and a city buzzing with creativity. I also managed to find an AA meeting, which grounded me and reminded me that travel isn’t just about places, but also about staying present and connected.

These short stops showed us that even a single night can reveal the spirit of a place. From here, the journey moves into the Brecon Beacons — expect nature, hikes, camping, and some epic scenery in the next videos.
