The H145 D3 is powered by two Safran Arriel 2E engines, achieves a top speed of 145 knots (268 km/h) and a range of approximately 351 nautical miles (650 km). The helicopter is equipped with a full glass cockpit featuring the Helionix avionics suite, providing enhanced situational awareness and safety.
The upgrade from the four-blade to the five-blade rotor system significantly enhances the H145 D3's performance. This new rotor design increases the payload capacity by 150 kg (330 lbs), improves in-flight stability, and reduces overall vibration levels, ensuring a smoother ride for passengers and crew. The simplified maintenance requirements of the five-blade system also contribute to lower operational costs and increased availability, making the H145 D3 an even more efficient and reliable choice for various demanding aviation operations.
