🚨 NH66 CLOSED! STUCK for 18 HOURS on Mumbai-Goa Highway | WORST ROADTRIP Experience 🚨

This was not just another road trip vlog… This was a real-life survival drive! In this video, I take you behind the wheel on India’s most unpredictable highway – NH 66 (Mumbai-Goa Highway) – where we got stuck for 18 long hours due to heavy rains, floods, roadblocks, and dangerous potholes. 🌧️🚗

This is an unfiltered raw experience of the current condition of NH 66, the alternate routes we discovered thanks to locals, and the extreme challenges we faced — including a tyre burst in the middle of the night!

🛣️ What Happened on NH66?
Started from Majorda (South Goa) at 12 Noon.
Thought it would be a smooth overnight drive. Little did we know… the adventure had just begun.
First break at Rajapur (5 PM) for refueling and food.
Locals warned us about the broken Sangameshwar–Lanja–Hathkhamba stretch.
Suggested alternate route: Devrukh – Sakharpa – Watul road to reconnect to NH66.
By Mangaon, NH66 was completely closed due to flooding. Thousands of vehicles stranded.
We were stuck on the highway all night, waiting, eating from roadside stalls, trying to rest in the car.

Finally, after nearly 18 hours of chaos, we reached Mumbai at 6 AM the next day — exhausted, but with a story worth sharing.

😓 Challenges We Faced
Torrential rains 🌧️ making visibility nearly zero.
Sudden, sharp potholes that damaged vehicles.
Tyre burst accident due to a hidden crater in the middle of NH66 at night.
Exhaustion from non-stop driving day and night.
No proper facilities while stuck for hours.
Anxiety of being stranded without knowing when the road would reopen.
