***little update here. Well I've been using this grinder for several years now, every fall to fatten out steers. I thought the bearings were going out of the motor by the sound it was making so I tore it down to get a look at it. Nothing wrong at all, just some normal wear on the brushes so I swapped their positions. It runs just fine. Still grinding.
