This video is an overview of the rules and requirements of the 12 Week Entry Level Dental Assistant Externship. Students are required to complete a 3 month & 200-hour Externship under any licensed Florida general dentist that they choose.

This video will also go into depth on the forms that are required to be submitted to the school monthly during the student Externship as well as the forms required to be sent to the school once the student completed the 3 month & 200-hour Externship in order to receive their Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) and Dental Radiology Certifications.

This information will also be review thoroughly weekly in class starting around Section 2. However, this video is helpful for students to be able to review at any time!
