Wild Robot Will Make You Cry In A Good Way

You want diversity in the cast? This is your thing. You want good storytelling? It's got it. Lupita Nyong'o, Ving Rhames, Mark Hamill, Pedro Pascal, Bill Nighy, Kit Connor, Catherine O'hara, and the director and voice actor and writer that made Lilo and Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon, and Mulan come to life?!

It's awesome.

When you watch a family film, what do you want? Sweet characters you connect with and make your kids smile, good animation, and the trauma that can only come from a child having their sweet little heart stomped on. So, like the best of them, Wild Robot rips your heart out, shows it to you while it still beats, and drinks your sweet sweet tears, only to give you back your heart and make you whole once more.

Like Mufasa and Simba, Little Foot and his mom, and Artax in the Swamp, and Futurama's Jurassic Bark, this movie builds you up, destroys you, and holds you while you cry. Just like a good kid's flick should. Come get traumatized with me, won't you?
