Marin Bikes was kind enough to send me some parts from their line of components. Not many people think of bike brands when looking at component upgrades but these are definitely worth a look
First up is the Marin Trail Bar. It is a 7000 series aluminum 800mm wide bar with a 35mm clamping diameter. Very nice smooth finish as compared to some other bars that have a bit of texture.
Next is the Marin CNC Stem which is a beautiful piece of CNC cut aluminum. The price and weight is very low for a stem of this style and quality.
Finally the Marin Grizzly locking grips which come in at 32.25mm grip diameter which is a good medium between some thinner grips and some wider grips. They also feature a nice notch for he base of your thumb giving them a bit of an ergonomic feel.
