Intentional Thursday w/D. Ralph
The scriptural lesson is nestled in Isaiah 38, and the lesson text is surmised in 38:17 from the God’s Word Translation and here begins the reading of God’s Word…..
“Now my bitter experience turns into peace. You have saved me and kept me from the rotting pit. You have thrown all my sins behind you.”
Lesson: “Bitter/Sweet”
Isaiah 38:17 describes King Hezekiah's experience of illness and his subsequent recognition of God's grace in healing him and forgiving his sins. He acknowledges the "great bitterness" he experienced, likely referring to his sickness, but then expresses gratitude for God's intervention, stating that God had delivered his soul from the "Pit of Destruction" and had "cast all [his] sins behind [God's] back". This verse highlights themes of healing, forgiveness, and God's love.
Isaiah 38:17 is a powerful testament to God’s ability and capacity to heal, forgive, and restore individuals. It brings light to the importance of recognizing the hand of God in both difficult and joyous circumstances. The verse as do many others in the Bible remind believers that even in the middle of your suffering, God with His good self extends His Love, His Grace and makes forgiveness available to everyone.
I extend and offer Christ to you my brothers and sisters, He will give you brand new life, through life abundantly so those of you who are weary and heavy laden C’mon, choose ye this day C’mon to Christ.
Well, my time here is far spent, the day is now at hand. So thank you my fellow believers for taking time to view Intentional Thursday w/D. Ralph.
Grace and Peace from God our father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Kingdom Blessings and Abundant Favor shall forever be your portion, “It’s Bitter/Sweet”
