In the rugged tradition of a John Ford western, Long Colts tells the story of Chick Hicks, a saloon-keeper in a dusty frontier town. When his son Cecil gifts him a prized Colt .45 Long Colt revolver, the moment is cut short by a lurking outlaw who ambushes Chick that same night-murdering him for the gun. Years later, with a matching Colt at his side and vengeance in his heart, Cecil rides across the unforgiving West to hunt down his father's killer and settle the score.
