This tutorial is part of the 'A Summer of Quilting Fun' events hosted by me, Rianne from Kick Ass Quilts.

This used to be a paid series called 'A Summer of Quilting Fun' in 2023. However, I decided to make all my classes freely available to make sustainability, and with that a joyful meaningful life for all, through the Magic of Quilting available for everyone.

What is the Summer of Quilting Fun all about?

→ 5 on demand video classes, each explaining a small project
→ Each class teaches one quilting principle
→ Beginner friendly, only a simple sewing kit is needed to join (Scissor, needle, thread, pins, and some pens and paper)
→ Kid-friendly projects
→ No sewing machine required! These projects are 100% portable and holiday / travel-friendly.
→ You can use a sewing machine if you want

The projects are:

Week 1: A turnaround coaster – Your first quilt in 1 hour
Week 2: Kawandi – Liven up any boring outfit
Week 3: Patchwork patching – Mend clothes on the go
Week 4: Party flags – Partying with memorable textiles / keep memories
Week 5: Colour theory – Learn how to work with ANY kind of fabric and colour
