In a major administrative cleanup, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy held a high-level review meeting with all departmental secretaries on December 23, 2025. The CM issued a stern directive to provide comprehensive data on all regular, outsourcing, and contract employees to the Chief Secretary by January 26, 2026. Aiming to end exploitation, he ordered Heads of Departments (HoDs) to personally verify if outsourcing staff are receiving their full salaries, EPF, and ESI benefits. Simultaneously, in a bid to save crores in taxpayers' money, the CM mandated that all government offices currently operating from rented private buildings must shift to state-owned premises by the Republic Day deadline.
