Episode 11: 1959-06-07 – The Whittlesea Bay Yacht Regatta
HMS Troutbridge is roped into helping with the local yacht regatta. Chaos ensues as the crew’s “assistance” leads to nautical mishaps, competitive sabotage, and Pertwee’s entrepreneurial schemes involving race fixing.

1959-06-14 – The Psychology Test
Naval HQ mandates psychological evaluations for the crew. Sub-Lieutenant Phillips and Chief Pertwee try to outwit the tests, resulting in absurd diagnoses and a hilarious breakdown of naval discipline.

1959-06-21 – A Watch on the Initiative Test
The crew is subjected to an “initiative test” meant to assess their problem-solving skills. Naturally, they misinterpret the challenge, leading to a farcical series of blunders and a missing watch that becomes central to the confusion.

1959-06-28 – An Exercise in Filming
A film crew arrives to document naval life aboard Troutbridge. The crew, eager to impress, stage exaggerated drills and stunts, turning the documentary into a slapstick disaster.

1959-07-05 – The Smuggling Spy
Rumors of a spy aboard spark a smuggling investigation. Pertwee’s side hustle with “imported goods” draws suspicion, and the crew’s attempts to catch the spy only deepen the mystery and the muddle.

1959-07-12 – The Whittlesea Carnival and Fête
Troutbridge is tasked with supporting the local fête. Phillips is put in charge of organizing events, which quickly devolve into chaos. Pertwee’s carnival booth becomes a front for dubious sales, and the fête ends in comic disarray.
