Happy new year!
Woo hoo! I used points to snag a business class seat on EVA Airways from Seattle to Taipei. This was the midnight flight. I flew up to Seattle after work on another "saver" awards ticket on United. Altogether, the cost was 100,000 points plus fees.
Even better, I had one-way premium economy on United for 89,000 miles (plus fees). Upgraded to business class for only 11,000 miles.
