Dinosaur Fossil Park & Museum | Raiyoli, Balasinor | Detailed Tour

This site was discovered accidently in 1981 when performing Mineral survey in this area. Later Palaeontologists discovered nearly seven species of Dinosaurs Fossils and uncovered fossils of about 10,000 dinosaur eggs making this site third largest Hatchery in the world. Eggs & Fossils found here are believed to be 6.5 crore years old. Recently Gujarat tourism board has inaugurated, Dinosaur Museum as well as Dinosaur Fossil Park on 9 June 2019 which provide you details of type of dinosaur found in the area, Inception of earth and Extinction of Dinosaur. You can see fossil of real eggs which has been excavated from this site. Previously in 2003, they also discovered a new species here, which belonged to the Tyrannosaurus Rex family. It was named Rajasaurus narmandensis which means a princely reptile from the Narmada
